Lentils/Kamande

Lentils are a variety of legumes mainly imported to Kenya from India.They resemble a tiny bean, grow in pods, and come in red, brown, black, and green varieties. They also contain high levels of protein and fiber.They make a great stew for Chapati a[nd Rice dishes and are popular for their fast cooking.
